The administrator of Reet Champion Book Reviews doesn’t always refer to herself as a plural pronoun; nor is she in the habit of speaking of herself in the third person. But humor her and go along with it for now. Lady Titanic Buff (how regal, n’est-ce pas?) reads…A LOT. Her reading tastes rarely stray from history but she does have her moments where she breaks down (no one is perfect). If one were to ask Titanic Buff what the most beautiful sight is she would answer “A shelf full of books”; and the more shelves the better.
Titanic Buff is a published writer; her articles have appeared in different publications both online and in print. When she isn’t reading she can usually be found writing or reading for the purpose of research. She has written several novels none of which have been published as Titanic Buff feels the only thing they are good for are to be used as paper airplanes or fodder for the fireplace. However, this is soon to be remedied as she is putting some finishing touches on a children’s novel which she hopes to present to readers sometime in the future.
With words running and skittering across her brain constantly Titanic Buff had hoped to become a walking dictionary, but alas, it is not to be. So instead she satisfies herself with dictionaries, thesaurus and on occasion, a Scots-English dictionary. It is her opinion that dictionaries are wonderful things as they can double as stepping stools. They are of such sizes that they can be used to reach those books towards the top of shelves that are just one or two dictionaries away from being claimed.
Since her to-read list is already of astronomical proportions she welcomes any book suggestions, because…we’ve all got to live, right? So if you’ve read a book you think she’ll like, get in touch! Either through commenting on the blog or through the Contact Form.
Thank-you for following my blog; I look forward to following yours too!
No problem! I’m really enjoying reading your reviews as many of them are on my to-read list. 🙂

You’re quite welcome. And having a look at your blog I see I failed to follow. Ach! I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached. I will indeed be keeping up with your blog (enjoyed today’s visit) Many thanks for dropping by RCBR.
Double check to make sure I’m following you, please. I clicked on the “+ Follow” button at the top of the wordpress screen and I get your posts in the “reader”, but I just want to make sure that it’s the same as “following” and up-ing your numbers!
Debbie
Yep, you’re following and it counts as a subscriber (many thanks).
The reader is a nice tool, makes it much easier for me to keep up with the various blogs.
It really does! I love the reader!
Airhead that I always am, I COMPLETELY missed your new blog! If anyone should be blessing people with their opinions, it’s you, ma cherie! Is “Map of Time” still running?
Many thanks! I felt the need to begin a book review blog rather than confine reviews to Goodreads. Enjoying it to say the least. And yes, Map of Time is still “alive”, I just don’t post as often anymore. 🙂
So did you find that tiara between the couch cushions?
*kicks invisible pebble down dusty road. Cue the “sad Charlie Brown music.”*
It wasn’t there…but it’s okay, The Hesse Aquamarines isn’t my favorite by far.
I wonder how many “Tiaras Times” were up to by now. Maybe there should be a recap and some audience voting? What do you think?
YES!!! As a member of your audience you could count on me taking part in the voting.
hee hee hee
Titanic Buff, I found you on another blog where you’d commented on Traces Of Mercy. Are you a fan of the movie, Titanic? If so, I wrote a fan fic that takes place AFTER the sinking. My story starts when Jack Dawson is supposed to die, but, he LIVES! 🙂 Jack and Rose go to New York while they try to escape evil Cal’s clutches! Here’s a link to my story if you’d like to read it! I hope you like it! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8376549/
Many thanks for visiting, Cecelia. To be honest I liked very little about the movie other then the sets and costumes. The ending, in general, was heartbreaking, of course. But I will be happy to read your story – I’ll probably like it better than the movie. 🙂
I found your blog on goodreads, so thanks for reviewing a book I had just finished!
Ooo! Thanks for stopping by, happy to have you here. And I’m glad you liked the review. Just sent you a friend’s request on GR. 🙂

I just finished and reviewed “By the Light of the Silvery Moon” by Tricia Goyer…have you read it? It takes place on the Titanic which I thought you might enjoy!
Yes I did read it! Marvelous book, it’s the one that reignited my interest in Christian HF. I’m off to see your review as I believe I may have missed it.
