A failing marriage. Two broken souls. And a test for the ages.
Soooooo, I’ve heard a lot about this movie. And we’re talking a lot. But the story itself didn’t really seem like something I would enjoy or have any interest in since 1) it wasn’t set in some way-back-when time period and 2) what do I know about marriages? Well. That was just crazy reasoning because this was both an incredibly moving and very well thought out teaching tool. When the opening scene was showing I was still skeptical, I thought, oh gosh. Here’s your run-of-the-mill soap opera. But it was definitely more than that. It’s not perfect, but nothing is. If you were/are like me and never really cared to give this movie a go I’d say ditch those doubts and dive in. This one is not to be missed.
