Grace Mabry has strong convictions and a frankness about her that is going to land her into trouble some day. And it does eventually. And it all begins with handing a feather of cowardice to an arrogant future earl at a ball she had no business attending. Shortly after a tragedy takes place and in time Grace learns the details of a disturbing event that she may have been responsible for.
After a string of bad luck in book choices I was a little hesitant to begin reading Not by Sight. Which was stupid, because page on snagged me and didn’t let go until the last page had turned. I loved this story. Grace Mabry was a spitfire to be reckoned with. I loved her attitude towards situations and people (but not always with her choices and methods), and how she didn’t back down. Her ineptitude in some things also brought a degree of humor into the book, an always welcomed element. With a combination of history, mystery and all-out craziness this is a story not be missed.
