Beyond All Dreams

Beyond All DreamsAnna O’Brien doesn’t have much in life but she has worked hard for what she does have and for the most part she is content. That is until lately. With age she has come to spot oddities in the letters left behind by her deceased mariner father – oddities that point to a cover up on the part of the US Navy. When she begins to do some tentative digging she comes away with more than she asked for when the Navy swoops down on her with threats and demands that she stop her snooping. And if that wasn’t enough Anna has another problem to deal with in the form of a cocky and demoted politician who has wormed his way into her valued solitude. As the two butt heads they must find common ground in order to silence the ghosts of the past that haunt both of their lives.

Elizabeth Camden does not disappoint readers with her latest release. As always she has put together another story that tugs at that heartstrings and leaves readers breathless in anticipation of what she my come up with next in whatever story she writes. Like many of her previous story Camden includes a lot of drama and action that make for a very vivid tale that is sure to keep you reading into the wee hours. I love how, as in Against the Tide, she incorporated nautical elements (and mystery!) and placed the main characters in very unique settings. Another excellent title everyone should read!
